Helmuth is a senior fellow at Doujak Corporate Development and coaches managers who want to develop their organization towards business excellence. As a sparring partner he contributes with his experience as manager and mentor of managers and teams which achieved extraordinary results. His holistic approach includes strategic and human resource development, process and quality improvement and to deal with cultural differences. The ultimate aim is an organization striving for lasting economic success.

Experience & education

Helmuth held management positions within VA TECH and has been member of the executive boards of ELIN Energieversorgung and VA TECH Hydro for seven years. He played a leading role in the acquisition of global businesses and the building up of new enterprises in countries like India and thereby developed the Austrian based company into a successful global player.

Besides supervisory board functions in Austria, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, the UK, Turkey, US, Brazil and India he was also president of the Austrian Turkish Business Council. In addition to his 30 years of experience in the global hydro power market, he also gained substantial knowledge in the European combined cycle power plant segment.

Helmuth holds a university degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Vienna.

Helmuth’s passion is his garden – he enjoys the seasonal changes of that natural “painting”. He likes spending his time at the tennis court with friends and his family.
